Our story
From The Hague to Paris, the same table
It all began in the Netherlands, with evenings of philosophy, poetry and art over a glass of wine. That became De Filosoof, on Molenstraat in The Hague: a wine bar and shop where wines from Moldova, Armenia, Lebanon and Georgia are the starting point for conversation.
Fifteen years later, the idea crossed the border. Gilgamesh brings the same philosophy to Paris, the same list of rare wines and the same love of good company.
What stays the same: every bottle has a story, every guest is welcomed like family, and every evening leaves you with a question to take home.
